Grief and loss are a part of the human condition. Grief is typically considered to be brought on by the death of a loved one, but can also be triggered by any significant life-altering loss (such as a divorce or the loss of a job). Grief is a natural response to loss, but that doesn’t make it easy to deal with. Symptoms of grief may include sadness, loneliness, anger, denial, depression and a myriad of other thoughts and feelings. There is no “normal” amount of time for grief to pass, but if you find that your grief is not improving over time or that it is interfering with your everyday life, you may want to consider seeking professional help. A qualified grief counselor can help you to cope with the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive responses to loss. Reach out to one of TherapyDen’s grief experts today.

Perhaps you are finding yourself in the middle of a significant transition. This can stir up all sorts of uncertainty. I am here to provide that extra bit of support you may need to get from where you are to where you want to be.

The past few years have been a period of unprecedented upheaval. A polarizing election season, racial reckoning, declines in mental health well-being, judicial challenges to women's reproductive health and economic uncertainty. These times make many of us feel uncertain about the present and future. Through a lens of cultural humility, I hope to work with you to provide an environment where your strengths can be realized and your goals for yourself and the people you care about can be met.

Many people I work with typically find themselves in a place on their path where they feel stuck. Whether they’re experiencing facets of historical and/or intergenerational trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, relational struggle, identity obstacles, and more, I find many people struggle to access the strengths they innately possess to move through life’s challenges. Many internal AND external factors contribute to the disempowerment of self, who we can more fully recover, together.
