I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with experience providing individual, group, family, and couples therapy. I have worked in a variety of settings including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, partial hospitalization programs, an intensive outpatient program, mobile crisis outreach team, community mental health agencies, as well as non-profit organizations. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I specialize in working with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, life changes and transitions, issues of identity, as well as LGBTQIA+ issues. I am poly and kink friendly. I am also able to provide letters of support for gender confirmation surgery. I draw from a variety of therapeutic models and will tailor my approach to your strengths to find what will work best for you.

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process between the individual and therapist to explore the emotions, behaviors, and thoughts that have held you back from experiencing life to the fullest extent possible. Therapy can help build coping strategies, stress management skills, and insight into the current areas of concern in your life. While there are issues that can be worked through on our own, we often need assistance recognizing blind spots that cause us to repeat the same patterns of responses and behaviors with the same results. By creating an environment of trust, we can build a collaborative relationship to work toward your personal goals in order to create the change you desire in your life.
