About My Clients
At Resilience Lab my clients are people navigating life transitions, learning to love their bodies, or questioning their gender identity and/or sexual orientation. Our time together might look like healing trauma, reconnecting with family, or using mindfulness exercises to create more bodily awareness. Through this process, I spend time with clients to discover the values and pieces of their identity making them who they are.
My Background and Approach
Authenticity is central to what I do. If it works for you, I may cuss as a form of expression. I’ll lovingly call you on your BS and have an honest conversation about your barriers to success. Expect me to integrate (my) self strategically. If I can't bring all of me to the table, how can I expect you to? My goal is to create a vulnerable space for healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an active member of the LGBTQIA+ community and am involved with the Black Lives Matter movement. I happily live in a plus-size body and enjoy helping others find comfort in their own body. My approach to therapy is rooted in anti-oppression and multicultural principles, seeking to honor each person’s individuality and autonomy.
