About My Clients
I love working with teens and adults who are looking to unstuck themselves and who are interested in going deep. Let's co-create a warm and safe environment for you to get to know yourself better, uncover core beliefs about yourself and the world, and use them to your advantage. As a somatic therapist, I'll support you in bridging the gap between your mind, body, and feelings through talk, mindfulness exercises, and if you're open to it, sandtray or bodywork.
My Background and Approach
I approach this path in a warm and judgment-free manner, respecting each person and their one-of-a-kind journey. My upbringing as a bay area jew-ish third-culture kid influences the way I see, feel, and orient to the world around me. As a trauma-informed somatic therapist, I work relationally to support children, teens, and adults looking to deepen their life and soul purpose. Common issues include overwhelm, grief, self-doubt, self-worth, and childhood neglect. In conjunction with identifying day-to-day struggles, we explore family legacy, ancestral patterns, symbolism, and archetypes for guidance. I keep in mind that we all have a story, and our stories often involve missed experiences as an infant or small child and socio-cultural and economic factors. Another way to say this is we are all influenced by time and place; our families of origin, our communities, and the state of the planet.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Sometimes we just need to talk to someone, get our thoughts and feelings out of the knots in our minds, and into a non-judgemental and curious space. We've all been conditioned by society to hold and repress some parts of ourselves and share other "more appropriate" parts. Let's get them all out in the open so we can get closer to freedom and see what's next.
