About My Clients
I began working with neurodivergent thinkers in the special education high school setting for over 15 years. In my practice today, I work with a wide spectrum of issues, from anxiety, depression, parent conflict, ADHD, Autism, caregiving, trauma, grief/loss, and relationship and identity struggles. My goal is to help each individual find healing, growth, and overall wellness. I sought out EMDR training once I moved into private practice so that I further treat individuals with unique needs.
My Background and Approach
I believe in the quote, “If I can survive in the war that I battle with myself, I can survive anything.” I practice solution-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy and specialize in working with young adults and adults. You can meet with me online for telehealth appointments or in person at my Frisco office.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that you can be exactly as you are in therapy. I strive to bring inclusivity and non-judgment into the therapeutic setting. In my 20 years of working as a therapist, I have experience working with many diverse populations.
