About My Clients
The developmental transition from child to teen to adult is complex, and many individuals struggle with their mood, motivation, focus, behavior, or academic performance. It can be difficult to know what is causing these challenges - is it depression or anxiety? Is it ADHD? Do they have difficulties with learning, executive functioning, or information processing? I love to help families answer these questions!
My Background and Approach
I take a client-centric, evidence-based approach to both testing and therapy. For testing and evaluation, we work together to identify key questions you want answered through testing, create a testing plan, and then I guide you through each step of evaluation, feedback, and recommendations. For therapy, we'll work together to identify treatment goals and use current best practices to help you build new skills, improve your coping, and build the life you want to live. I am direct, skills-based, and come from a positive psychology/strengths-based approach.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I welcome neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, and gender diverse clients, and specialize in working with gifted and doubly gifted/twice exceptional individuals.
