About My Clients
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, & lost? Is your day filled with racing thoughts about a million different things? Do you put a lot of pressure on yourself to succeed but feel like you always come up short? You might not feel like yourself & find it exhausting going through the daily responsibilities of life. Are these feelings interfering with your career, schooling, family, relationships, & social life? You want to make changes and feel better, but you don't know where to start.
My Background and Approach
I help teens & adults who feel stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, depressed, or are having a hard time with a recent transition; including the birth of a baby.. With a person- centered approach, I provide a safe space for healing and growth. I enjoy helping others who are looking to take control of their worry & anxiety, gain insight in their lives, improve their relationships with themselves & others, increase self-compassion & self-love, improve their work-life balance, or balance their life & the role of parenting. In our work together, we may focus on ways to cope with stressors & negative feelings, evaluating &/ or changing negative habits & thought patterns, challenging anxious thoughts, improving communication, practicing self-care, developing a greater sense of awareness, identifying & working through challenges you face, & developing a positive sense of self.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can make positive changes & grow at any time in their lives. I believe that while our experiences shape us & the way we think or act, our experiences do not define us. Starting therapy is a big step on your journey & finding the right therapist can feel like a daunting task. I offer a free phone consultation to see if I would be the right fit for you, & if I’m not, that’s okay! Part of what makes therapy effective is finding someone you feel comfortable with, someone you feel you are able to be your true self. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, non-judgmental space for my clients. I believe laughter can be therapeutic and so can a good cry.
