About Our Clients
Whether you're wondering if your day-to-day issues with food and body image are actually a problem, have been in treatment before, or have never been diagnosed with an eating disorder, we're here for you. If thoughts about food and your body are taking over, you feel out of control around food, and your mental health and life is being impacted by it all — you're in the right place.
Our Approach to Helping
This isn’t your typical kind of eating disorder treatment. Arise was founded by people who have lived with eating disorders, trauma, and mental health themselves — and want to make sure that everyone has access to affirming, supportive care and community so they can heal, too. We've brought together a diverse team of community and clinical providers who are all here to support YOU in what healing looks like for your life. We take time to get to know you first, hear your goals, and build a personalized care plan to support your healing. We take a holistic approach to eating disorder care — working with you on challenges around food, body image, and mental health. You'll have a designated Care Advocate for peer support and coaching, group support, regular sessions with a therapist and dietitian, and check-ins with a psychiatrist and physician as needed. We know how lonely it can feel when you're living with an eating disorder, which is why community is a core part of care with us.
Our Values as Mental Health Practitioners
Listen to lead: We’re not going to have all the answers. To effectively serve every person’s healing journey, we must start by humbly listening to and elevating voices from marginalized communities. Everybody matters: We’re here for people of any age, race, size, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, and background, because everyone deserves to be heard, understood, respected, and supported. We're all human: Being human means that we celebrate together and support each other through the low points. We give each other the space to rise and fall and rise again.
